Minutes of the Fremont R/C Flying Club
April 3, 2015 Meeting
Vice President Dave Green called the meeting to order at
7:05 PM.
Minutes – The
minutes from the March meeting were approved.
Treasurer’s Report Apr 3, 2015:

Marlowe pointed that the March 2015 report didn’t include an
additional $40.00 membership. That report was corrected. The Treasurer’s report
was approved
Old Business:
Training Help –
The CAP group came out for training a couple of Saturdays ago, but the trainer
was not ready for them. It will be rescheduled.
Fun-Fly – Our
first event of 2015 is scheduled for April 11th and will be pylon
racing starting at 10AM.
New Business
Balloon Classic
– Is scheduled for Memorial Weekend, May 23-25. Our club will again be
supporting this event. Details will follow. We will need club members to
volunteer to help man our booth and for possible flight demonstrations.
Publicity – It was noted
that our meeting announcements were not appearing in the Daily Record. Marlowe
promised that he will make sure our meetings and events appear in both local
papers.
Memorial Event
– Our club has donated to the Sangre de Cristo Hospice in the names of
Bill Worthen Sr. and Hammer Bellino. The Worthen and Bellino families and our
club have been invited to a “Remembrance Tree” memorial on Wednesday, April 29th
at 3:00PM. It will be held at the Sangre de Cristo Hospice office at 601
Greenwood Ave in Canon City. If you plan to attend please RSVP to Michaelene @
719-275-1261.
